We're looking for an experienced Director of Engineering who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all engineering activities. Your primary focus is to help manage Bloxtel's growing engineering team. This role plays a crucial part in the development and execution of engineering strategies, product development, and technology initiatives. You will help recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical staff; foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment and ensure the team meets project deadlines and delivers high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical staff to deliver high-quality results.
- Technical Strategy: Develop and execute engineering strategies, product development roadmaps, and technology initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure teams meet deadlines.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment across engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline or related field
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Expert knowledge of blockchain and/or telecom technologies
- Excellent programming and bash scripting skills.
